SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A homicide investigation is underway after a man died from his injuries following a shooting Friday night in the city’s Bayview District, the San Francisco Police Department said.
SFPD said officers responded at 8:38 p.m. to the 1100 block of Wisconsin Street for a report of a shooting and located a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
“Despite the lifesaving efforts by paramedics, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased on scene,” SFPD said in a news release.
